The Steinwhale torque wrench with 1/4'' drive features a full metal body for unparalleled longevity and ease of handling. Each wrench undergoes detailed testing according to ISO and ASME standards, ensuring accuracy with an error margin of just 1% across different torque ranges. The wrenches can handle torques from 20 to 200 in.lb. (2.26 to 22.6 Nm), making them perfect for most daily maintenance needs.
Our wrench innovatively uses an adapter system for a 4mm rectangle head, allowing you to easily snap in various bits without the need for oversized sockets. This design significantly reduces both the weight and size of the wrench, making it easier to store and use. With more bits and sockets available in the same footprint, you have more flexibility and efficiency.
This set includes 31 meticulously chosen S2 steel bits boasting exceptional hardness (HRC 60+/-) and durability, along with 9 CrV Hex sockets ranging from 5-13mm to cover most common situations. For harder-to-reach areas, we've added an extension rod. All bits and sockets are compactly stored together.
To use the wrench, simply pull down the black latch, then rotate the handle clockwise to increase torque and counterclockwise to decrease it. Each full rotation provides 20 in.lb. (2.26Nm) of torque. The handle features notches marking 2 in.lb. (0.226Nm) per click, allowing for precise adjustments. Finally, release the black latch to lock the desired torque setting. When reaching the set torque, the handle will bend and click, indicating the torque has been achieved.
To ensure the longevity of the torque wrench and protect your fasteners, we recommend: 1. Always use the wrench for tightening, not loosening. 2. Return the torque scale to zero and store the wrench in the box after use. 3. Never use the wrench as a hammer or apply any extensions to the handle.
